AVENE

AVENE

Eau Thermale

Tolerance Extreme Cream

Review!

Avene to me, is one of those skincare brands you seem to hear about and see a lot of, however I have
just never gotten myself around to actually using anything from this hypoallergenic range suitable for
even the most sensitive of skin types. Until now, I have been lucky enough to try their new Avene
Eau Thermale Tolerance Extreme Cream and I am so excited to share my thoughts on this facial
hydrater!

At a modest 50ml, the white cream is on the thicker and richer side when it comes to facial skin
moisturisers. I found it to have absolutely no scent what so ever, so if you're one of those people
wary of or not keen on scented creams near your nose then this is one you need not worry about!

This rich cream can be used as both a day and/or night cream. As it is so thick and generous, it is
absolutely perfect if you skin is especially dry or irritated. The thermal water, shea butter, safflower
seed oil amongst other ingredients work together in this cream to both soothe, hydrate and soften the
skin.

Avene are the first brand I have seen to package their products in a complete sterile manner. This
unique style of tube dispenser (see image below) works to keep the formulation inside completely
fresh thus eliminating the need to mix any preservatives into their products which can be irritating
and upsetting to a lot of people's skin.

No need to freak out, it is still super simple and easy to use! In fact it isn't complicated at all to
dispense the product out of the tube. All that happens is the little round circle you see in the middle
of the hole inside the flip top lid just pops out for a second and 'ta-da!' out pops a pea size amount of
cream. Just the right amount to cover your whole face, neck and décolletage. Easy peasy!

This product is said to work best if first used with the Avene Tolerance Extreme Cleansing Lotion and
the Avene Thermal Spring Water Spray. All of which are available to purchase directly from
Priceline, Amcal and most other chemists. You can check their official website for exact locations in
your area.
