AUGUST EMPTIES

~  AUGUST EMPTIES  ~

Uh, excuse me August? Where did you just go?! This past month has seriously flown by in what feels
like a day! As you can see if you look to the side at how many posts I put up in August, I missed my
usual target of 10 and only managed 6. However I have been concentrating a lot more on my Youtube
channel and trying to put more videos up over there. But other than that, it has just been a super busy
month in my life away from blogging in general. Who knew bloggers actually have a life outside of
blogging right? lol You'd be surprised! Anyway, let's get into my favourite blog post of the month -
EMPTIEEEES! :)

Full Size

Tresemme Split Remedy Shampoo
I have purchase and used this multiple times and always enjoy it. I used to have quite bad split ends
and now I don't. I thank it partially to this hair range. (Review!) (Buy!)

Dove Go Fresh Face Cleanser
This is classic to Dove at being super moisturising and gentle on the skin. It smells like cucumber
and I just love it for when my skin if feeling extra dry. (Review!) (Buy!)

Lush So White Shower Gel
I purchased this the same time I bought Snow Fairy and this one would have to be my favourite of
the two. Smells gorgeous and I can't get enough of the beautiful glittering snow like shimmer in it!
(Lush Haul!)

SugarBaby Bomb Shell Satin Body Souffle
Had this stuff in the back of my beauty cupboard for forever and finally dug it out to use it up.
It is suuuuuuper shimmery, but it so very pretty and smells great!

Avon Naturals Frangipani Hand Gel
I just don't get this hand gel. It smelt nothing like frangipani, the scent was quite potent actually
and the consistency was a clear runny gel like a hand sanitiser. Weird.

Designer Brands 'Delicate' Lashes
Loved these! Got a few used out of them by taking the time to carefully clean and store them back
in the box after each use. A tedious task that I got over and decided to chuck them and more on to
another set!

Clever White Dissolving Whitening Strips
As mentioned in a few of my previous empties, I had high hopes for these, but just can't get into
them. They feel gluggy as they dissolve in your mouth and I haven't really noticed a difference in my
teeth shade. :(

Samples

Estee Lauder NightWear Plus Night Detox Creme (Buy!)
Whoo Ja Saeng Essence
Sulwhasoo Gentle Cleansing Foam
Sum Secret Programming Essence
L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil Nourishing Masque (Buy!)
Garnier Fructis Full & Luscious Shampoo & Conditioner (Buy!)

L'Oreal Paris Revitalift  Day Cream (Buy!)
Did anyone else take this 14 day challenge? I really enjoyed this day cream. It did feel a little heavy
and smelt like sunscreen. However that didn't bother me and I'm pretty sure I can see the results as
my crows feet around my eyes are less prominent. Woo!

So as I warned you all in my last few empties, my stash is getting smaller and smaller as I use
up more half empty products and move onto the full ones, this past month is quite small in
comparison. Since I feel like I barely saw a day in August, I don't know how I even managed to get
through this amount of products to be honest. Just went by so fast!

Happy Spring by the way!
My baby son turns 2 this month so I am excited and looking forward to celebrating that!

Let's follow each other!

    1. Awesome, I'd love to hear how you end up going with it. I thought about blogging my progress but I completely forget to take a before picture! :( I love reading empties too, they are the best! :D

    1. Yeah, I am so used to using thick white creams and so using a gel was completely foreign to me and the smell was just like nail polish remover or something similar. :/

  3. Good job finishing so many things! It's so fun finishing up sample packs. I've been looking for a cheaper alternative to Crest Whitestrips but good to know that clever white didn't work out for you.
